JG Staal is a data and analytics executive with international experience in the architecture, delivery, and management of enterprise software and solutions. His deep background in applying AI and predictive analytics drives business results and improvement. JG has worked with Fortune 500 companies, mid-market organizations and start-ups, including health care, financial services, and telecommunications firms. He is considered a pioneer in defining, building and managing software-as-a-service (Saas) platforms and Saas organizations. John Burkhardt, PHD, Vice President of Behavioral Science and Customer Analytics
John M. Burkhardt is a neuroscientist and behavioral scientist specializing in competitive behavior change. John’s work applies neuroscience, behavioral economics and data analytics in the commercial space to understand, predict, and influence behavior.
Originally a research scientist, John has worked as a professor of neuroscience on faculty at the University of Oslo in Norway, the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown in Lisbon, Portugal, and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
Subsequent to his academic career, John worked with the Vitruvian Group, a boutique management consultancy, and iMotions A/S, a software company specializing in biometric research. He has also served as Director of Behavioral Science at Integrated Systems, Inc, a government contractor with a large practice in the IRS, SEC, and Department of Defense.
John has delivered keynote addresses in North America and Europe on behavioral economics, applied neuroscience, consumer engagement, and the ethics of behavioral practice. He earned a B.S. in experimental psychology from Duke University and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Wake Forest University. Gail Legaspi-Gaull, Director of UX and Customer Insight Strategy
Broadly skilled and versatile, Gail rocks market research, user experience, and consumer insight. Gail’s track record of success includes successful brand building and consumer demand strategy for an A-List roster such as Tribal DDB, A.T. Cross, McDonald’s, Under Armour, Ritz Cracker, and Aetna. Gail previously served as Senior Director of Brand & Innovation Strategy and Director of Marketing Communications for Sallie Mae. She has also worked as a Director of Marketing for Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and held various global brand management roles with Unilever HPC, where her portfolio included Vaseline, Dove, and Axe. Elfego "Go" Gomez, VP of Experiential Learning
Elfego is our master of experiential learning and culture change strategy. He brings more than two decades of perspective working with executive teams in the Fortune 100 and the U.S. government. He is a frequent public speaker and consultant and serves as an adjunct faculty member with Duke Corporate Education and the Center for Creative Leadership.
Elfego has worked with Microsoft, Toyota, The Kaiser Foundation, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mars, Kraft Foods, Anglo American, Christie’s Auctions, Anheuser Busch InBev, U.S. Olympic Committee, Dow Corning, The World Economic Forum, McKesson, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and the Whiffenpoofs of Yale University. He has designed and conducted executive coaching, training and team development programs throughout the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America. He has helped General Motors Europe manage a large cultural change training initiative for Opel dealerships in 17 countries. More recently, Elfego partnered with OPM and other firms to design and facilitate leadership development for the National Security Agency, Veterans Administration, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Justice, Department of Education and the Executive Office of the President.

Seth Sirbaugh, Creative Director
Early on in his career, Print magazine took note of Seth’s innovative and unique style, repeatedly recognizing him as an up-and-coming designer to watch. He did not disappoint. For more than 15 years, Seth has led award-winning teams in creative art direction, branding, marketing collateral and interactive design. His work has appeared numerous times in Print’s National Design Annual, the Art Directors Club of the Metropolitan Washington Annual Show, The Logo Lounge, The Big Book of Logos, USA Corporate Identity and HOW magazine.
Today, Seth is the rare designer that connects his work to the total brand experience. Before taking on any project, he takes the time to understand how an organization’s attributes, culture, and product mix can and should be translated into visual language. In caring as much for the outcome as the client, Seth’s approach is to work alongside clients as a partner.
Seth also takes a great deal of pride in giving back, mentoring the next generation of designers. Seth serves as adjunct faculty at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. and at Shepherd University. He also shares his methods and expertise at various other colleges and universities, always eager to connect with aspiring designers.
